Knowledge is an amanah. As khalifah on earth, our students are encouraged to seek knowledge and use what they learn to solve real-world problems. Learning science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) is a way to see the signs of Allah in the world around us.
Al Mashoor-Idrissi International School (AMIIS) delivers a holistic, values-based education for learners from Early Years to Secondary (IGCSE). With a distinctive focus on STEM Islamic education, AMIIS introduces robotics, AI literacy, coding and maker education from the early primary years, alongside Islamic Studies and Qur’anic learning. Through this integrated approach, we nurture students’ character and adab, helping them grow in both knowledge and faith.
The result is a generation of ethical innovators equipped with the knowledge, confidence and integrity to make a positive difference in the world.
At IDRISSI, education is about more than what happens in the classroom. We bring together Islamic values, eco-conscious learning and Cambridge education to give students a well-rounded foundation for their future.
A globally recognised foundation.
Students follow the Cambridge IGCSE pathway, building the rigour, depth and confidence that open doors to universities and careers around the world.
Learning by building, testing and thinking.
From engineering design, coding and robotics to AI and data literacy, students learn to solve problems like innovators.
Faith that shapes how we learn.
Through Qur’an, Islamic Studies, Arabic and Seerah, students build a strong Islamic identity and a character grounded in adab and akhlak.
Strong minds need strong character.
We develop integrity, responsibility, courage and resilience, along with the collaboration and communication skills that great leaders need.
Knowledge only matters when it is used.
Students take on projects, industry challenges and community problems, and put their learning to work through research, competitions and innovation showcases.
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
lhamdulillah, I am truly happy to welcome all students and parents who have now become part of our community. It means the world to us to have students from diverse nationalities growing and learning together here.
Learning is a little like building something. Each idea, mistake and discovery adds another piece to the bigger picture. We want our students to have the confidence to try, the courage to learn from mistakes and the wisdom to think about how their actions can benefit others.
Through our STEM Islamic approach, students explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics alongside Islamic learning and the development of adab. We want them to understand that knowledge is not only about what we discover, but also about how we use it to make a difference.
May Allah bless the efforts of our dedicated educators and supportive parents as we work together to nurture our children. May He always keep our children under His rahmah, grant them clarity of mind and bless their efforts in all that they do. Ameen.
“Be the Change.”
Every stage of learning is a step towards a brighter future. From the early years of discovery to the academic milestones of IGCSE, we nurture our children to become future-ready leaders.
Children are naturally curious, and we let them be. We give them the space to play and discover safely with their senses through creative activities. Because the best discoveries are the ones they make themselves.
These are the years where children start to find their voice. Cambridge Primary prepares students with strong foundations in English, Mathematics and Science, wrapped in STEM Islamic values that build both knowledge and character.
These are the years where potential starts to take shape. Lower Secondary at IDRISSI is where students broaden their subject range, deepen their analytical skills and begin to find their academic strengths.

Imagine a world where the young generation is not only academically brilliant but also emotionally intelligent, practising virtuous traits such as kindness, compassion, respect and empathy. Value Education Programme, or known as VEP is a character-building programme that emphasises on social-emotional learning skills, where students learn to create meaningful connections with everyone around them. Good values are instilled in a variety of activities for the students to be involved in such as the Cookout to share recipes among friends, Charity Bake Sale to raise funds for the needy, visits to Charity Homes and many more.

IDRISSI International School is the first international school in Malaysia to implement STEM with Robotics Curriculum. The curriculum is accredited and certified by Global STEM Alliance (GSA) and International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA). Through hands-on and creative learning, students explore engineering concepts, design, coding, and problem-solving using STEM-friendly robots. Rather than learning in theory alone, students are challenged to develop robots that solve real, everyday problems which helps foster their interest in subjects like Mathematics, Coding, Engineering, Science and Technology, all of which lead to innovation.
The JASS Programme is an internationally recognised, accredited progressive learning programme offered to students aged 10–14, designed to develop well-rounded character and a sense of purpose beyond the classroom. It gives our students an edge over the rest in their education portfolio. Fully aligned with current educational thinking and IDRISSI’s outdoor learning strategy, the programme recognises growth across four key areas:
FLiP is IDRISSI’s Financial Literacy Programme, developed in partnership with MoneyTree Asia Pacific, one of the region’s leading financial education providers. Unlike most Malaysian schools that offer financial literacy as an elective, we teach it as a core part of our curriculum. Our teachers are trained and certified by MoneyTree, equipping students with real money skills, which include budgeting, saving, understanding debt, investing and the importance of giving. We believe that a child who understands money grows into an adult who is responsible, generous, and financially free.
Learning at IDRISSI goes far beyond the classroom. Our students explore the wider world and apply their knowledge through hands-on experiences in our outdoor learning spaces. Eco Programme is a dedicated subject within our curriculum, while Eco Scouts runs every Friday for Year 1 to Year 3, where students take part in activities like making self-watering planters, rainwater harvesting, patch farming, recycling and more. Through these experiences, they discover firsthand how even the smallest actions can make a big impact on the environment.

As the continuity of the JASS programme, students will participate in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE), an international leading achievement award programme for students aged 14 and above. The programme is fully aligned with current educational thinking and IDRISSI’s outdoor learning strategy. It is internationally recognised and will give our students an edge over the rest in their education portfolio.

Another customised subject we include in our curriculum is Skill and Fill, where students learn traditional Turkish Archery from trainers certified by the Yunus Emre Institute (world-wide non-profit organisation by the Turkish government) and the Okçular Vakfi (Archers’ Foundation of Turkey). The traditional sport is being taught together with its underlying historical, athletic, artistic, cultural and educational values. Being focused, confident and having a good sense of coordination are some of the positive values students can benefit from the programme.
