Sports Day this year will be held on the 29th of March 2019 at Panasonic Stadium, Shah Alam. The twist in this year\u2019s sports day is that it will be held at night from 5pm until 11pm under the night sky, hence the theme Eyes on the Stars, Feet on the Ground. The groups this year are renamed as the Constellations, Ar \u2013 Risha\u2019 (Green) , Al \u2013 Ka\u2019s (Blue) . Al \u2013 Uqdah (Yellow) and Az \u2013 Zauraq (Red), all of them represent a constellation in the Arabic language. With new additions to each group, comes new captains of the season: Qayyum Indra Putra of Ar-Risha\u2019, Ahmad Ilyas of Al-Ka\u2019s, Umar Harith of Al-Uqdah and Eiman Harith of Az-Zauraq.<\/p>\n

To kick off the sports month in IDRISSI<\/a> International School, the teachers gathered us into our sports group and we were briefed about the event that was to be held. Throughout the whole month, there will be pre-sports events leading up to the big day where the school will crown the overall winner of the sports day, events such as basketball, badminton, futsal tournaments and many more. Keeping us heated up and excited for the upcoming sports day, students showcasing their best abilities and bringing back either a gold medal, silver medal or bronze medal in honor of their group.
