“Indeed, We have created everything, perfectly preordained.”
— Surah Al-Qamar (54:49)
The 2025/2026 academic year has officially started! This time it feels extra special. Why? Because we’re not just welcoming new and returning students to our “home,” we are also blessed with the opening of our Bukit Jelutong campus! Alhamdulillah. Truly, Allah knows best and His timing is always perfect in every matter. This new beginning couldn’t have come at a better time. Let’s take a quick look at how the first day unfolded, and give you a little sneak peek into our new spaces. Let’s go!

“Assalamualaikum ustadh.” Oh, how we’ve missed hearing that cheerful salam! Since this is a new campus, everything felt fresh and unfamiliar to our students. But the moment they saw their friends and teachers, those first butterflies quickly disappeared, and not long after that, everyone felt right at “home” again.

They started the day with a morning assembly, continued with a session with their homeroom teachers, heard all about the school’s co-curriculum and discipline talk, and even went on a school tour. We could hear their footsteps going up and down the entire time! Now, let us bring you to explore our spaces too!

Let’s go straight to the rooftop! We posted a picture of this court on our Instagram (follow us at @idrissibukitjelutong!) and asked our followers what they think this court would be. We received answers like basketball, football, badminton and pickleball court. Those who answered pickleball, you’d probably make great detectives! Our children love it, especially when they get to play while seeing the beautiful view and sky. Who wouldn’t, right? We know how much they enjoy being active. Engaging in sports is one of the ways to build confidence, friendships and healthy habits at the same time.

We are still on the rooftop, but now we are somewhere just as exciting (and maybe even more important for our always-hungry students!) Yes, it’s the cafeteria! This is where Primary and Secondary students enjoy their breakfast and lunch, while our Early Years students have their very own cosy space downstairs in their classroom. With fresh air, wide-open views and delicious meals from our new caterer (more on that in our next post, stay tuned!), mealtime has never been this enjoyable.

This quote never gets old, because it is so true. The more we read, the more we realise just how much there is out there that we don’t know yet. Children love to ask questions. The more they read, the more questions they will ask and the more knowledge they will get. The shelves in our library are filled up with something for everyone. We have big, colourful books with illustrations for our younger students, and inspiring reads for our Upper Primary and Secondary students.

Welcome to our Art Studio! As you can see, we have all sorts of art supplies for students to unleash their creativity during the Art class. Children can be very creative. Give them a blank canvas and you’ll see how they can turn it into a masterpiece in no time! Why is art important? It’s one of the ways for students to express themselves, explore new perspectives and discover talents they never knew they had.
Alhamdulillah. All praises to Allah. We are extremely grateful for all the blessings. What we’ve shared just now is just a glimpse of His favour, and there are more spaces on the way. We can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.
To all our dearest parents, thank you for putting your trust and giving full support. To our dedicated teachers, thank you for your unwavering commitment to nurture our young generation. To our lovely students, may Allah bless each and every one of you towards your journey to succeed and BE THE CHANGE!
