Here at IDRISSI International School Setia Alam, we offer a safe, homely, and sensory-friendly school designed to feel like a place of true belonging. Through the Cambridge International Curriculum, hands-on learning and the integration of eco and Islamic values, our students develop the knowledge, skills and character to navigate a world full of possibilities.
Our NICE Programme creates a unified ecosystem where neurodiverse and neurotypical students learn, grow, and thrive together through dual-educator support and tailored pathways.
From our diverse community to our hands-on approach, every part of the learning journey helps shape our students into individuals with knowledge, character and confidence.
Our Cambridge-based education builds strong academic foundations while developing skills like critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving.
From caring for plants and animals to practising sustainable habits, students learn to appreciate nature and care for the environment.
Through Quranic learning, Islamic Studies and daily experiences, students develop a strong foundation in faith and good character.
By bringing a variety of cultural backgrounds and areas of expertise, our educators inspire students to see the world through different lenses.
Students of different nationalities build friendships, share perspectives, appreciate diverse cultures and succeed together.
We support each child’s unique strengths and needs, creating an inclusive environment where every student can thrive at their own pace.
Every stage of learning is a step towards a brighter future. From the early years of discovery to the academic milestones of IGCSE, we nurture our children to become future-ready leaders.
Children are naturally curious, and we let them be. We give them the space to play and discover safely with their hands, eyes, nose and ears through nature and creative activities. Because the best discoveries are the ones they make themselves.
These are the years where children start to find their voice. Cambridge Primary prepares students with strong foundations in English, Mathematics and Science, wrapped in Eco Islamic values that build both knowledge and character.
IDRISSI School Setia Alam is a neurodiversity inclusive school that integrates individualised learning, values-driven education and real-world skills development within a safe, homely environment, empowering both neurotypical and neurodivergent learners to grow with confidence and purpose academically, socially and personally.
“The most important thing for me is that whenever my child wants to perform solah, we don’t have to call him. He will do it naturally, and I am very sure this comes from the practice in school.”

“I notice a lot of improvement for my child. Now she can speak in English fluently, and when she’s at home, she’s always reciting and making du’as. I hope she will keep improving to become a better student and Muslim.”

“My son has mild autism, and the reason we chose IDRISSI School is because of its integrated NICE approach. The teachers are also very attentive to all the students, and I can see it from the way they communicate with the students and parents.”

Imagine a world where the young generation is not only academically brilliant but also emotionally intelligent, practising virtuous traits such as kindness, compassion, respect and empathy. Value Education Programme, or known as VEP is a character-building programme that emphasises on social-emotional learning skills, where students learn to create meaningful connections with everyone around them. Good values are instilled in a variety of activities for the students to be involved in such as the Cookout to share recipes among friends, Charity Bake Sale to raise funds for the needy, visits to Charity Homes and many more.

IDRISSI International School is the first international school in Malaysia to implement STEM with Robotics Curriculum. The curriculum is accredited and certified by Global STEM Alliance (GSA) and International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA). Through hands-on and creative learning, students explore engineering concepts, design, coding, and problem-solving using STEM-friendly robots. Rather than learning in theory alone, students are challenged to develop robots that solve real, everyday problems which helps foster their interest in subjects like Mathematics, Coding, Engineering, Science and Technology, all of which lead to innovation.
The JASS Programme is an internationally recognised, accredited progressive learning programme offered to students aged 10–14, designed to develop well-rounded character and a sense of purpose beyond the classroom. It gives our students an edge over the rest in their education portfolio. Fully aligned with current educational thinking and IDRISSI’s outdoor learning strategy, the programme recognises growth across four key areas:
FLiP is IDRISSI’s Financial Literacy Programme, developed in partnership with MoneyTree Asia Pacific, one of the region’s leading financial education providers. Unlike most Malaysian schools that offer financial literacy as an elective, we teach it as a core part of our curriculum. Our teachers are trained and certified by MoneyTree, equipping students with real money skills, which include budgeting, saving, understanding debt, investing and the importance of giving. We believe that a child who understands money grows into an adult who is responsible, generous, and financially free.
Learning at IDRISSI goes far beyond the classroom. Our students explore the wider world and apply their knowledge through hands-on experiences in our outdoor learning spaces. Eco Programme is a dedicated subject within our curriculum, while Eco Scouts runs every Friday for Year 1 to Year 3, where students take part in activities like making self-watering planters, rainwater harvesting, patch farming, recycling and more. Through these experiences, they discover firsthand how even the smallest actions can make a big impact on the environment.

As the continuity of the JASS programme, students will participate in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE), an international leading achievement award programme for students aged 14 and above. The programme is fully aligned with current educational thinking and IDRISSI’s outdoor learning strategy. It is internationally recognised and will give our students an edge over the rest in their education portfolio.

Another customised subject we include in our curriculum is Skill and Fill, where students learn traditional Turkish Archery from trainers certified by the Yunus Emre Institute (world-wide non-profit organisation by the Turkish government) and the Okçular Vakfi (Archers’ Foundation of Turkey). The traditional sport is being taught together with its underlying historical, athletic, artistic, cultural and educational values. Being focused, confident and having a good sense of coordination are some of the positive values students can benefit from the programme.
