Step by step,
Day by day,
You found your voice,
You found your way.
We watched you learn,
We watched you grow,
And now it’s time,
For you to go.
Every year, we watch our Year 11 students prepare for their IGCSE and graduate from the school they have called their second home for years. It is a bittersweet moment. They once walked through our doors with bright eyes and big dreams, and now they have grown into someone with even bigger dreams and brighter futures, InsyaAllah.
Looking back, every moment at IDRISSI International School was precious. Whether they were giving their best during Sports Day, working together for school exhibitions or representing IDRISSI School in competitions, these experiences were more than just about getting the job done or bringing home an achievement. Along the way, they learned to take responsibility, support one another and believe in what they were truly capable of, together with their friends. And now, after years of learning and growing under the guidance of our experienced educators, they have reached another important milestone in their journey, their IGCSE.
The long hours of revision and endless piles of notes may have left our Year 11 students scratching their heads, but with the support of parents and teachers, coupled with their determination, they have made all of us proud with the IGCSE 2026 results!
Our Class of 2026 achieved 100% credit across all 10 IGCSE subjects, with 55% scoring A and above, 78% scoring B and above and 92% scoring C and above.
They have also demonstrated remarkable growth, increasing overall A*-A Distinction Rate to 55.43% (up from 50.52% in 2025) while scaling total examination entries by 18.0% (341 vs 289).
The proportion of top-tier A* grades increased significantly from 22.84% (66 grades) in 2025 to 26.10% (89 grades) in 2026.
We are also proud of the progress made in our Science subjects. Chemistry achieved a 70.0% A*-A rate (up from 35.3%), Physics increased to 50.0% A*-A (up from 23.8%), and Biology rose to 59.3% A*-A (up from 33.3%).
Economics has also emerged as a standout discipline in 2026 with an extraordinary 90.91% Distinction Rate (A*-A) across 22 candidates (12 A*s, 8 As).
The theme for this year’s IGCSE Graduation was Whimsical, and it could not have been more fitting. After years of hard work, the day felt almost like a dream. This milestone is also a reflection of the love, patience and sacrifices of their parents and teachers.
To IDRISSI parents, thank you for trusting us to be part of your children’s journey and growing alongside us as one IDRISSI community. To IDRISSI educators, thank you for lighting the path to knowledge and instilling the values that guide our children in both dunya and akhirah. Thank you to our Guest of Honour, Dr. Rajabi Abdul Razak, an Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Arts and Design, Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), for sharing your words of wisdoms and presenting the certificates of achievements to all graduates and awarded our top scorers.
Faris Haziq Bin Fairuz Helmi has been awarded as our Valedictorian for achieving 12As including 10A*s. Excelling in studies was not the only way he made IDRISSI proud. He also served as our Head Prefect and became one of the panelists at the Al Azhar IIBS International School Conference, alongside other panelists from Indonesia, Japan and Saudi Arabia, with his speech titled, “Helping the Environment as a Muslim Youth, and the Danger of Falling into Trends.”
Farris Bin Abdul Muhaimin has been awarded our Salutatorian for scoring 12As including 9A*s. His achievements did not stop in the classroom either. In 2025, he was awarded the Gold Award in the world’s largest Math competition in Malaysia called the Kangaroo Math Competition under the Junior Category, proving his strength and passion for Mathematics.
To our Class of 2026, may you continue to dream, learn and become the person who brings goodness wherever you go. May Allah ease your journey, open doors that are good for you, and guide you towards a future filled with barakah. Congratulations, once again!

IDRISSI International School is the first international school in Malaysia to implement STEM with Robotics Curriculum. The curriculum is accredited and certified by Global STEM Alliance (GSA) and International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA). Through hands-on and creative learning, students explore engineering concepts, design, coding, and problem-solving using STEM-friendly robots. Rather than learning in theory alone, students are challenged to develop robots that solve real, everyday problems which helps foster their interest in subjects like Mathematics, Coding, Engineering, Science and Technology, all of which lead to innovation.
The JASS Programme is an internationally recognised, accredited progressive learning programme offered to students aged 10–14, designed to develop well-rounded character and a sense of purpose beyond the classroom. It gives our students an edge over the rest in their education portfolio. Fully aligned with current educational thinking and IDRISSI’s outdoor learning strategy, the programme recognises growth across four key areas:
FLiP is IDRISSI’s Financial Literacy Programme, developed in partnership with MoneyTree Asia Pacific, one of the region’s leading financial education providers. Unlike most Malaysian schools that offer financial literacy as an elective, we teach it as a core part of our curriculum. Our teachers are trained and certified by MoneyTree, equipping students with real money skills, which include budgeting, saving, understanding debt, investing and the importance of giving. We believe that a child who understands money grows into an adult who is responsible, generous, and financially free.
Learning at IDRISSI goes far beyond the classroom. Our students explore the wider world and apply their knowledge through hands-on experiences in our outdoor learning spaces. Eco Programme is a dedicated subject within our curriculum, while Eco Scouts runs every Friday for Year 1 to Year 3, where students take part in activities like making self-watering planters, rainwater harvesting, patch farming, recycling and more. Through these experiences, they discover firsthand how even the smallest actions can make a big impact on the environment.

Another customised subject we include in our curriculum is Skill and Fill, where students learn traditional Turkish Archery from trainers certified by the Yunus Emre Institute (world-wide non-profit organisation by the Turkish government) and the Okçular Vakfi (Archers’ Foundation of Turkey). The traditional sport is being taught together with its underlying historical, athletic, artistic, cultural and educational values. Being focused, confident and having a good sense of coordination are some of the positive values students can benefit from the programme.
