Malaysia Education Awards 2025

Alhamdulillah. All praises belong to Allah. IDRISSI International School is very honoured to be awarded the Best International School at the Malaysia Education Awards (MEA) 2025! This award celebrates the excellence in education towards nurturing young generations with quality education, creativity and learning.

When we first heard about the nomination, we were honestly just happy and grateful to be part of such a meaningful event that celebrates the people behind education; our dedicated educators who have been working hard in shaping our students every single day. But then… we WON! To be recognised among so many amazing institutions in the first place is already truly humbling.

During the judging process, the Early Childhood Education Expo (ECEE) team and Persatuan Tadika Malaysia (PTM) visited our new campus at Bukit Jelutong. We had such a great time showing them around and sharing with them our humble beginnings, our passion for eco-Islamic education and all the little things that make IDRISSI feel like home for our early years, primary and secondary students.

Our former principal of IDRISSI School Setia Alam, Principal Raimi, attended the awards ceremony at the Pavillion Bukit Jalil Exhibition Centre to receive this incredible recognition that reflects our performance and achievements in the past academic year. It was truly a proud moment for us all!

Here at IDRISSI, we believe that learning can happen anywhere (even outside of the classroom!). Life is more than what we learn from books. Hence, we say no to rote learning and regurgitation. Our students learn by doing; by getting their hands dirty in the garden, by exploring nature and by understanding that knowledge is deeply connected with faith, empathy and the environment. We always give them the chance to gain as many valuable skills as possible, like planting, fixing things, managing money, building their character and more. Our educators are always thinking outside the box to give our children the best hands-on experience. This milestone stands as a reminder that staying true to our values is what makes IDRISSI special.

This award isn’t just ours. It belongs to every teacher who pours their hearts into teaching, every student who always reminds us why we do what we do and every parent who believes in our eco-Islamic education vision since the very beginning.
