Golden Wonders of The World Exhibition

Golden Wonders of The World Exhibition

Have you ever wondered how discarded boxes, plastics, papers and more recyclable materials could actually build wonders of the world? Till today, even after the exhibition ended, it still felt like a dream seeing all those amazing 3D replicas were presented.

On 16th November 2019, IDRISSI International School organized the Golden Wonders of The World Exhibition at Movenpick Hotel & Convention Centre. The exhibition unfolds the historical and geographical elements that were hidden behind the world’s wondrous places. The crowd started to fill in the hall compound even before the door opened at 11am and closed at 5pm. The response was very encouraging till the last seconds before it ended.

IDRISSI students successfully turned the hall to a destination of 20 wonders of the world which include the Grand Canyon, the Great Wall of China, Mount Everest, the Great Barrier Reef, Paricutin, Hveravellir, Taj Mahal, Pyramid, Hagia Sophia, Colosseum, Stonehenge, Petra, Bell Rock Lighthouse, Galapagos, Umayyad Mosque, Alhambra, Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Lake Baikal, Iguazu Falls and Tropical Rainforest.

We were extremely honoured to have the Malaysia Book of Records holder, the first paraplegic man who crawled up the Mount Everest Base Camp by using only hands, Brother Azzrulkhan to officiate the exhibition and share with us the inspiring stories that help to inculcate a fighting spirit and can-do attitude among the students and all visitors. He showed his interests in every booth and it made every effort that we put worth it all.

Aside from that, responding to the government’s call for Highly Immersive Programme (HIP), IDRISSI invited the public and private schools around Sepang, Nilai, Seremban and Kuala Lumpur to experience the refreshing concept of learning and travelling while strengthening the usage of English.

Students’ amazing performances, showcases and forums of the wonders of the world that they represented filled the whole day. The students also performed a choir titled “We are the world”, raised their voices with hope to make a change in this world. They moved our hearts again with Dikir Barat performance in perfect Kelantanese dialect despite being in an international school. It is the proof that IDRISSI students are capable of doing anything they set in mind.

The loud claps and smiling faces of the crowd made us excited to bring new exhibition concept next year.
