OUR ALUMNI

Our students hold a growth mindset of “Be The Change” wherever they go, continue to take charge in the community after they become alumni. Every day we are proud to celebrate the legacy of excellence that they build, be it in academic, character and spiritual well-being.

The teachers have truly been an inspiration to all of us. They make classes feel less like a burden. They say the home is where the heart is, and the teachers truly are hearts of IDRISSI. If someone were to ask me, “What is the best thing about IDRISSI?” It would be the teachers.

Personally, I had a lot of fun in IDRISSI. I know, we, being students, we always complain all the time, about how the school is and how we wish for more but to be honest, I feel like if it were any different, we won’t have the same experiences, the same memories and stuff because part of the fun is making memories and I believe we did that!

Thanks to all my dear teachers who were always there for me, accompanying every step I take, listening to my stories and even sharing some of my own to me. So, as some people may argue that there are better teachers out there, no. I stand here refusing to believe that there are better teachers than those who are sitting right here.

I have really enjoyed my time while at Idrissi School. It is really a special place to get ourselves to be more prepared to face the real world out there. We have friendly, dedicated teachers and staff who tirelessly help in our education, and groom us to be better muslim and muslimah in this modern age and time.

I would like to thank my parents for putting me into this wonderful school. I will be honest, at first I did not want to enter this school, but my dad promised me a phone, so I did. Alhamdulillah, it was probably the best decision in my life, to be honest because I think I have grown as a man, as a student and as a child.

In the last months of preparing for our IGCSEs, although it was admittedly a stressful time, it could have definitely been worse if not for my ever so reassuring teachers and classmates as well. I can only imagine the strain on myself, mentally if it were not for the supportive environment I had surrounded myself with.

I believe that me and my classmates worked very, very, very hard to prepare ourselves for IGCSE. Hopefully, none of us have any regrets before moving on to the next chapter. Let’s move on happily, confidently and may Allah guide us through all the upcoming chapters in our life.

I am so grateful, and thankful to everyone who helped me throughout the years, thankful for IDRISSI for even taking me under their wing, thankful to all my teachers as they have helped me through school and were truly my second parental figures. I could not imagine being taught by anyone else.

I wouldn’t be the person that I am today, honestly because I was actually quite timid. IDRISSI has guided me to so many new expectations and so many adventures, I don’t know what I would have done. There were many times where my friends would talk about the school events like the school event and camps, they would be like, “Sofi, it’s not fun, don’t go” but my good friend would say “Sofi, just go” and it would always end up being a blast.

I remember throwing a fit constantly because I had to attend an Islamic school as it was a new environment to me. All praises to Allah, IDRISSI has the best teachers a student could ever ask for. From the lessons in class to deep talk sessions. My kind teachers, I am profoundly indebted to you.

I believe that me and my classmates worked very, very, very hard to prepare ourselves for IGCSE. Hopefully, none of us have any regrets before moving on to the next chapter. Let’s move on happily, confidently and may Allah guide us through all the upcoming chapters in our life.
