EduCity Iskandar Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. was established in 2008 as a 300 acres fully-integrated education hub located in Iskandar Malaysia, Johor which a wholly owned subsidiary of Iskandar Investment Berhad. As the Asia’s first multi-campus education hub, EduCity is currently a home to more than 4,000 students from local and international education partners.
With this collaboration, IDRISSI International School Setia Alam and IDRISSI International School Johor Bahru introduce Financial Literacy Programme (FLiP) for the students to elevate their knowledge in this area.
The Yunus Emre Institute is a non-profit organization established by the Turkish Government. IDRISSI International School is the pioneer international school in Malaysia to offer Traditional Turkish Archery to its students as part of its curriculum, now expanding to IDRISSI School @ Johor Bahru through the collaboration with the Turkish Embassy in Malaysia and Okçular Vakfi (Archers’ Foundation of Turkey).
PEKA Malaysia is an NGO known as Pertubuhan Pelindung Khazanah Alam Malaysia, which was formed to stop the destruction of natural resources, to defend the rights of the environment and be the voice of nature. IDRISSI International School was granted by PEKA the Eco Primary Education Award 2016, graced by His Majesty Sultan of Selangor, preceding IDRISSI International School Johor Bahru with a good head start.
Accreditations
As part of the University of Cambridge, Cambridge Assessment International Education prepares school students for life, helping them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. At IDRISSI International School Johor Bahru, Checkpoint for Primary School students and IGCSE for Secondary School students, all accredited by Cambridge.
JASS (Junior Award Scheme for Schools) is an accredited learning programme for young people. JASS was first set up in 2010/11 by Friends of the Award in Edinburgh and the Lothians (FOTA) in partnership with City of Edinburgh Council.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a world’s leading Achievement award for young people. Voluntary, non-competitive and available to anyone aged 14-24, equipping young people for life and work.
