Narrated Abu Hurairah:
That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him.”
At IDRISSI International School, we believe in nurturing both academic and akhla’ excellence through the values of kindness, leadership, teamwork and a love for nature. The teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) beautifully encapsulate our approach as he stated, “The best among you are those who have the best manners and character." — Sahih Al-Bukhari, emphasising the significance of cultivating virtuous traits.
Our school integrates nature-based learning in preschool and follows the Cambridge International Curriculum in primary and secondary education. We are proud to stand as a homely eco-school, seamlessly infusing Islamic and eco-values into the lessons.
Choosing the international curriculum for your child consists of numerous advantages such as:
The international curriculum isn’t just about rote learning, it is designed to cultivate problem-solving, critical thinking and adaptability skills.
Backed by the UK NARIC 2019 study, this ensures that students receive a high-quality education, globally recognised and accepted.
The flexibility of choosing the subjects enables them to tailor their education to align with their passion and future career aspirations.
This curriculum provides a solid foundation recognised by universities and institutions worldwide, regardless of pursuing higher education locally or abroad.
Our secondary education extends beyond the classroom boundaries. We encourage students to engage in real-world scenarios, address problems and brainstorm solutions through hands-on activities, experimentations, teamwork challenges and more. This approach, complementing the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), instils vital 21st century skills such as critical thinking, communication, creativity, and collaboration — equipping students for an ever-evolving world.
As we approach the new year and new term, our dedication to providing an enriched educational journey remains steadfast. Maths tutorial classes and English speaker corner are integral part of our academic support structure, fostering academic success and personal growth.
The mental health and well-being of our students are equally important. Hence, we have started a series of monthly talks and workshops for the primary school students, covering topics like Building Healthy Relationships, Self Esteem: Positive Body Image, and Emotional Well-being: Peer Pressure.
Aside from that, our secondary students came up with Secondary School Clubs every alternate Fridays. These clubs encompass diverse interests, from performing arts to gaining survival skills in urban settings, developing physical fitness, and offering additional Maths tutoring sessions. These opportunities let them learn new skills, develop their confidence and character, and build their portfolio for their university journey ahead.
At the heart of our educational philosophy, lies a student-centred approach and project-based learning. Through these approaches, we are empowering students to think critically, solve problems, and develop creativity through hands-on experiences and real-world situations.
Giving your child the best education is a gift that lasts a lifetime. Our character-building programs, engaging lessons, enriching excursions and delightful experiences inspire our students to embrace a vision of giving back to the community. Gestures like helping parents doing household chores or lending a hand to neighbours can serve as building blocks in shaping individuals who value empathy, akhla’ and compassion. It is not the large quantity that is measured but the consistency and quality of what one offers that truly counts.
“That is of which Allah gives the good news to His servants, (to) those who believe and do good deeds. Say: I do not ask of you any reward for it but love for my near relatives; and whoever earns good, We give him more of good therein; surely Allah is Forgiving, Grateful.” — Surah Ash-Shura 42 : 23
