The IDRISSI Learning System offers both a practical and meaningful curriculum to provide our students with a balanced education that connects and engage them, rather than focusing on rote learning, memorisation and regurgitation. Cambridge International Examination
- Key Stage 1 (KS1) —Year 1 and Year 2
- Key Stage 2 (KS2) —Year 3 to Year 6
IDRISSI Learning System provides balanced education that connects and engages students rather than focusing, memorising or regurgitation. At the end of Key Stage 2, students will be assessed through Cambridge Primary Checkpoint test administered by the Cambridge International Examinations.
Malaysian Standard Curriculum for Primary Schools (KSSR)
- Lower Primary : Standard 1 to Standard 3
- Upper Primary : Standard 4 to Standard 6
Learners follow the KSSR curriculum for six years, sitting for Primary School Achievement Test, also known as Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) which is a national examination administered by the Ministry of Education Malaysia in Primary Six.
A PLATFORM TO CARE AND EXPLORE THE ECO SYSTEM
Our students are not just constrained to the classroom and text book learning environment but are also given the exposure to explore the world wide web and the opportunity to discover, explore and apply their knowledge vocationally in our non-conventional outdoor classrooms. With the Eco Scouts programme, nature is our students’ main tool. Through patch farming, rainwater harvesting and recycling, they will learn about planet earth and how to care for the environment.
We also encourage active parents’ participation through various volunteering opportunities and engagement to help enhance teaching and learning, as well as teacher-parent relationship. Working collectively with parents allows us to build a stronger school programme that is the blueprint to grooming successful citizens of tomorrow.

FLiP is Financial Literacy Program customised for us by leading Financial Education provider MoneyTree Asia Pacific. Unlike most Malaysian schools who offer Financial Literacy as an elective or extra coursework, we teach the subject as part of our school curriculum. Our teachers are trained and certified by MoneyTree as financial literacy educators to instil in our students good money management and understanding of the correlation between earning, budgeting, spending, saving, debt, investing, and giving
JUNIOR AWARD SCHEME FOR SCHOOLS (JASS) PROGRAMME
DofE and JASS programmes & awards are internationally recognised and will give our students an edge over the rest in their education portfolio. The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award (DofE) is an international leading achievement award programme available for our students aged 14 and above.
A similar programme offered to our 10 – 14 year old students is the Junior Award Scheme for Schools (JASS) programme. It is an accredited learning programme to develop students’ wholesome individuality by offering recognition in four key areas – regular physical activity, exploring a personal interest, working for the good of the community or the environment, and completing an outdoor activity or challenge. The programme is fully aligned with current educational thinking and IDRISSI’s outdoor learning strategy.
IDRISSI International School is the first international school in Malaysia to implement STEM with Robotics curriculum. The curriculum is accredited and certified by Global STEM Alliance (GSA) and International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA).
The STEM with Robotics curriculum is an interactive and creative method in teaching STEM-related subjects due to its high level of engagement. By using STEM-friendly robots, students learn fundamental engineering concepts, design, building, testing, development and coding basics. Students are given the opportunity to develop robots to solve realistic everyday problems, which helps develop their interest in subjects like mathematics, coding, engineering, science and technology, all of which lead to innovation.
